Campese out again

Terry Campese’s injury nightmare has worsened after being ruled out for up to eight weeks with a hamstring injury.

Head coach James Webster confirmed that the halfback, who limped off in defeat to Leeds, had suffered a similar injury to the one that forced him from the field on his return to the team against Huddersfield last month.

Campese has been forced from the field of play in his two appearances this season, both of which came after a nine-month spell out through injury too.

It is the latest blow to Hull KR’s squad, who have a string of players nursing numerous knocks following the Easter period, with the likes of Josh Mantellato and Ryan Shaw both ruled out long-term.
