Carl Ablett picks up two-match suspension

Leeds utility Carl Ablett has been banned for two games after admitting kicking Joel Monaghan in the Rhinos’ 24-6 loss to Warrington Wolves on Friday.

The England international will miss Friday’s Challenge Cup clash with Leigh as well as the important Super League encounter with Huddersfield the week after.

Elsewhere, Wakefield prop Richard Moore was given a one-match ban for punching Elliot Kear of Bradford Bulls on Sunday.
