Lucas Walshaw suffers horrific injury

Dewsbury’s on loan forward Lucas Walshaw was on the receiving end of a gruesome injury last weekend, as he bit off part of his own tongue. Kyle Trout joins Batley on loan

Wildcats forward, Kyle Trout has joined Batley Bulldogs on an initial one-month loan deal. The 23-year old has played once in 2014 having made 21 Super League appearances in all for the club. Former Wigan prop Tom Spencer has joined Championship leading scorer Ryan Brierley and Martin Ridyard in extending his Leigh Centurions contract.
