Killer chemical or as it is sometimes known Hydrogen hydroxide

How can we allow this killer chemical to exist?

Link to FAQ
What are some of the dangers associated with DHMO?
Each year, Dihydrogen Monoxide is a known causative component in many thousands of deaths and is a major contributor to millions upon millions of dollars in damage to property and the environment. Some of the known perils of Dihydrogen Monoxide are: Death due to accidental inhalation of DHMO, even in small quantities.
- Prolonged exposure to solid DHMO causes severe tissue damage.
- Excessive ingestion produces a number of unpleasant though not typically life-threatening side-effects.
- DHMO is a major component of acid rain.
- Gaseous DHMO can cause severe burns.
- Contributes to soil erosion.
- Leads to corrosion and oxidation of many metals.
- Contamination of electrical systems often causes short-circuits.
- Exposure decreases effectiveness of automobile brakes.
- Found in biopsies of pre-cancerous tumors and lesions.
- Often associated with killer cyclones in the U.S. Midwest and elsewhere.
- Thermal variations in DHMO are a suspected contributor to the El Nino weather effect.

Apparently it's very rare in the south east. Hence the reason the Government don't give a toss. It's only us northerners that suffer ! mad.gif

What are some uses of Dihydrogen Monoxide?
Despite the known dangers of DHMO, it continues to be used daily by industry, government, and even in private homes across the U.S. and worldwide. Some of the well-known uses of Dihydrogen Monoxide are:

as an industrial solvent and coolant,
in nuclear power plants,
by the U.S. Navy in the propulsion systems of some older vessels,
by elite athletes to improve performance,
in the production of Styrofoam,
in biological and chemical weapons manufacture,
as a spray-on fire suppressant and retardant,
in abortion clinics,
as a major ingredient in many home-brewed bombs,
as a byproduct of hydrocarbon combustion in furnaces and air conditioning compressor operation,
in cult rituals,
by the Church of Scientology on their members and their members' families (although surprisingly, many members recently have contacted DHMO.org to vehemently deny such use),
by both the KKK and the NAACP during rallies and marches,
by pedophiles and pornographers (for uses we'd rather not say here),
by the clientele at a number of homosexual bath houses in New York City and San Francisco,
historically, in Hitler's death camps in Nazi Germany, and in prisons in Turkey, Serbia, Croatia, Libya, Iraq and Iran,
in World War II prison camps in Japan, and in prisons in China, for various forms of torture,
by the Serbian military as authorized by Slobodan Milosevic in their ethnic cleansing campaign,
by many terrorist organizations,
in community swimming pools to maintain chemical balance,
by software engineers, including those producing DICOM software SDKs,
in animal research laboratories, and
in pesticide production and distribution.

Don't do it ! ohmy.gif

It needs the toxins taking out first and it's a process requiring expert knowledge, specialist equipment and malted barley, hops and yeast. smile.gif

Of course some people would find the information above, far too boring. I shudder to think what would happen to them. sad.gif

Cancun climate change conference petition to ban DHMO

About time too! Four years since the original thing and they STILL allow this evil chemical to be used so freely.

A good friend of mine was actually told to drink more of the stuff by a doctor to help him recover more quickly from exercise. What people will do these days to help feed mega corporations' profits.

Crystallised DHMO is a real problem for local authorities. Many people are criticising them for not taking strong enough action while the government's response is for people to deal with it themselves and stop asking the state to fix their problems.

I wonder how many days of work have been lost to the country this month alone because of this evil stuff.

Apparently, if you add a good dollop of Whisky it renders the stuff harmless although it may cause some people to fall over.

It's pernicious stuff, alright. I found some chunks of it in a Gin and Tonic recently, and it reacted with the heat in my room to eventually render the drink much less enjoyable.

Here in Afghanistan, the NATO/ISAF troops use it in vast quantities, regardless of the proximity of their own troops, staff or the local population. The Taliban also use it, but in small quantities due to the difficulty they have with its transport. But you never read about it in the press, such is the extent of the cover up. mad.gif

The local population even dink it before it's been purified by the above mentioned process, which has been banned. Indeed, it's a criminal offense to sell purified versions of it to the local population.

Oh, the humanity ! ohmy.gif
