I used to play football for the pub team there.

The Pub? We didn't go out much that weekend due to the hotel being a bit remote (Best Western) but the only pub is now a Beefeater type resteraunt, or was there another pub further on?

There were three pubs from memory. The Prince Albert was the one.

strange effect on this from the grand final

grandfinal_zps9df2a303.jpg

I look around
I search the skies
I shade my eyes
So nearly blind
And I see signs of half remembered days
I hear bells that chime in strange familiar ways
I recognise...
The hope you kindle in your eyes

I think the pub/resteraunt was called The Windmill, ring a bell?

Finally we're beginning to see some decent autumn colours around this neck of the woods. :)

Now then, it's a race between Sandie....and Fairburn....and the little man is in........yeees he's in.

I, just like those Castleford supporters felt that the ball should have gone to David Plange but he put the bit betwen his teeth...and it was a try

The real Mick Gledhill is what you see on here, a Bradford fan ........, but deep down knows that Bradford are just not good enough to challenge the likes of Leeds & St Helens.

Had a first try at HDR as a technique over the last couple of days, freezing myself taking loads of shots in the early morning sun yesterday then post processing yesterday evening and this evening. I'm trying to keep it subtle and realistic looking rather than an obvious HDR effect. Have I achieved that?
