Over complicated and overdone.
Give it a whirl and watch Guy thingy rip off every movie he's done and seen.

Yeah a few people have said the plot is barmy, might give it a go for a bit. Cheers.

Have you ever seen Battlefield Earth? It truly is astounding how bad it really is... It's so bad that it can't even act as a parody of itself as some poor films can. I'd suggest that this is far worse than your furrin film that's merely pretentious, French and pre-school artsy. For example, is your film a Scientologist circle-jerk in homage to the great L.Ron? If no, then sorry, your film is just not ###### enough.

Shockingly bad film, and quite rightly up there in the worst ever list!

What about Revolver (Jason Statham)?

I Sky + this the other night but have since been told it is awful, should I bother?

God yes, another horrid film

The Mummy Returns.

don't ask me to explain it - it was just utter dogsh1te.

And another, the first one was great, the second rotten, the third...

Others...
  • Watchmen, overly long, ###### story, arty farty directing...
  • Babylon AD... a film so bad that the director recommended you watch something else!

No Country For Old Men was my worst. It had no storyline and no ending it was just someone randomly going round killing people with a bolt gun then ended with someone having a conversation with an old man

It's not awful......it is annoying and complicated though.

The most loathsome movie in my opinion is Titanic and they're going to re-release it in 3D format later this year

That's a truly horrific prospect!! Thank you for the advance warning - I will have to make sure I never purchase a 3D TV now or it would surely find it's way into my wife or daughters clutches!

I watched Inception the other night because it was a choice between it and Predator and I thought it would have to be better than Predator. But unless Predator is really ###### I was wrong. It's not the worst movie ever but it was probably the most confusing, convoluted, nonsensical thing I've seen in a while. It was just too hard to work out WTF was going on. I thought about it for 24 hours afterwards and eventually gave up and just tried to put the whole experience behind me.

I don't think you can blame the film for you not getting it. Stick to films with Steven Segal and his rubbish roundhouse kick.

I thought it was quite straightforward and a pretty good film.

It relied a lot on the ficticious theories surrounding what can and can't happen inside the dreams etc. And I don't think it made much sense. There were holes in the theory all over the place, like how if you were sedated more than normal you could end up in some kind of purgatory. It just wasn't consistent. It was like they were making it up as it went along. It was like in Lord of the Rings when they summoned those eagle things when they were in trouble but at other times when they were in just as much trouble they never thought to get the eagles back again. If you're going to develop these theoretical bases for your story consistency is important.

It might not have helped that I almost nodded off in the opening 10 minutes because hadn't slept much the night before. But even after I woke up a bit it was still too convoluted. I wasn't the only one either. When the lights came on at the end I looked around and virtually everyone in the cinema had a rather bemused expression. In fact if the thoughts of everyone in that room could have been translated into words at that moment it would have been "WTF?" But I guess we mustn't be as intelligent as you folk.

I watched Vertical Limit on TV the other night.

That was bad, but in a way that made me stick around for the ending.

I thought it was excellent. I didn't think it's difficult to follow, but I think you do need to follow it, having a snooze at the beginning probably wouldn't help with that closedeyes.gif

edit for spoiler alert!
The 'purgatory' was described as a limbo state, as you had woken up from the dream world, however as your body was sedated you couldn't wake up in the real world, just as the time was compounded with a dream within a dream, it was the same for limbo so could feel like a whole lifetime, and would possibly send you mad... it was a bit of a mystery to those in the film too, however, as it's in the dream world, it does have a bit of a license to be a little far fetched IMHO wink.gif

My son alerted me to

"Megashark v Giant Octopus"

on SyFy channel (SciFi must have been too confusing)

Here's the trailer

http://www.youtube.c...h?v=Fa7ck5mcd1o

Watch the trailer and don't bother with the film as it uses the classic B movie trick of re-using great swathes of footage throughout the film to pad it out.

and here's the upcoming "Sharktopus"
