There isn't much the RFL can do about it other than asking the immigration office to intervene and prevent him from getting a visa but this story shows how far players and clubs will go to break the overseas quota. If he gets his Macedonian passport and ends up with a visa to play then it could open the floodgates for other players to try a similar tack. The RFL needs to come up with a solution to stop this sort of thing happening as it makes a mockery of the system.
