another day off work can't get out the bloody street here in standish wigan and it is still snowing, at least a good 5 inch :(

I look around
I search the skies
I shade my eyes
So nearly blind
And I see signs of half remembered days
I hear bells that chime in strange familiar ways
I recognise...
The hope you kindle in your eyes

I didn't get back to sleep, fascinating to watch the stupid c"nts drive on motorways with 4 inches of snow all over their cars.

I was told that you can be fined for driving a car with snow on the roof! :D

Spent an hour shovelling this morning. Waste of time because we've had another inch and a half in the following two hours.

Side roads a bit slushy, main roads clear, snow largely gone, some sleet forecast.

I hope you're in magical Bradford when saying that.

Drive home last night was worse. Little traffic on gritted roads let the snow settle. 25mph all the way home.

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

The Environment Agency has urged us all to make a snowman to slow down the thaw. This will prevent the danger of flooding apparently.

I believe it was an attempt at humour.

Not a Bradzilian?

Snow in Bradford; not heavy but starting to stick. Going to watch my son's fiancee in a show tonight, so will make use of my very rare bus rides.

There are two bus routes ... 036 and 037 ... through the suburb where I live and I still don't know which number relates to which route.

In fairness, I've only lived here since 1984.
