For those who want to go see a game, 12.15 kick off, pitch inspection passed.

Dewsbury 12 Batley 20.
Att 2411
Snow on the pitch, Merrick in the middle and the biggest hit of the new season which won't be bettered (even though the season hasn't officially started yet). Gareth Moore of Batley caught the ball and had his feet on the ground for less than half a second when he was poleaxed.Hard tackle but fair. Unfortunately he was carried off on a stretcher.
Other than that it was good to see some Fev old boys in action. One player to watch for Dewsbury is Alex Bretherton who took his 2 tries well.
Entertaining game given the conditions.

cracking good attendance too. Very encouraging.
