Apparantly the pitch is playable today and the reason it called off is cos of the snow round the perimiter. If so it sucks cos we could have done with a run out.If we dont have more snow should be ok for next week.

It's no good having a pitch they can play on when the players will probably break their hips in the car park

I wouldn't worry about it. Nobody else is going to get much practice either.
Temperatures are predicted to rise slightly over the next week. Even if you believe anything the Met Office say (what happened to the Barbecue Summer of 2009?), that's not forced to be good enough to shift the lying snow.
