New season starts April 3rd First home match Sat 10th v Eagles . Come on get your self down last year cost 3 but its free entrance for season ticket holders. come and watch some cracking rugby. The young lads should be right up there again this season Last season lost title on points difference after the rfl gave us 30pts to 0 home win against defunkt donny following an 80-0 away victory. See if the reserves promoted into the first team squad can give DP selection headache. We've signed signed some new lads on for this season so come and see if we have unearthed any more future stars!

First home match will probably be Friday 9th.

These fixtures need to be taken with a pinch of salt at the moment.

To be fair, Leigh had two games against Doncaster to play when Doncaster pulled out and were also only given 30-0 for both of the games. We lost the league at York when the first team had a dead week and all the squad players were given a week off. We were ordinary and York played out of their skins. I think at the time they were about third off the bottom.

Ah but that doesn't fit in with our conspiracy theory Stuart. We all know that Leigh would have lost one of those because at that time they were fighting for their lives and the reserves were irrelevent. We would have won the league had we not had it taken from us. dry.gif
