10th February 2010

More games at The Big Fella’s Stadium:-

Despite putting in a great performance this evening, and a hat trick from Lasen Marabe,

the Reserves fell just short, losing to a very strong Wakefield Wildcats side 16-28.

Thanks must go to those of you who braved the bitter cold creating a good atmosphere

in the 500 strong crowd, and you have the opportunity to see the Reserves in action

against soon as there are more friendly games arranged in the coming weeks, these are:

Wednesday 17th February v HULL KR – Kick Off at 1930

Wednesday 10th March v HUNSLET – Kick Off at 1930

Wednesday 24th March v YORK – Kick Off at 1930

Rovers v Hunslet Game Re-Arranged

Following the original postponement, our Northern Rail Cup fixture against Hunslet will now be played

on Thursday 4th March, just a few days before our first involvement in the 2010 Challenge Cup. This

game will now become the last of the group fixtures for the competition and will come after our first

Co-Operative Championship Fixture against Batley.

Early-Bird Offers

For the entire 2010 season we are offering match goers a great early entry offer for all home fixtures.

Fans of Rovers or indeed our Visitors can pre-purchase match tickets at

http://www.fevshop.c...offers-99-c.asp and earn themselves a free pint or

soft drink in the clubhouse! That’s right, your first drinks on us, all we ask is that you join us before 1.30pm

to qualify (Vouchers can also be redeemed after 6pm on the day of the game) The clubhouse will be

showing live sport on the giant screen or a re-run of our previous away fixture if applicable.

One FREE Pint voucher will be issued to all advance Adult and OAP ticket purchases, Child tickets can

be redeemed for draught Cola or Lemonade. This incredible offer doesn’t stop there, ALL Season Ticket

Holders who enter the ground before 1.30pm will also qualify as part of the ST Plus benefits package,

ST Plus members will receive a voucher on entry to the stadium.

The club would like to thank Stadium sponsor ‘Big Fellas Nightclub’ for their help and support in

bringing this offer to fruition.

NEW ! - Match Day Specials

Everyone at the club wants to see the season start with a bang; we’re looking for a bumper crowd

and a great atmosphere to get us off and running! Special Family Tickets will be available for our

opening fixture against Batley on February 28th at just £20 for 2 Adults and 2 Children, available online

at http://www.fevshop.c...ilies-100-c.asp Our game against Toulouse

in April will also attract this great offer as part of the Sky/RFL package for this televised fixture.

Enhanced Match Day Experience at the Rovers

A vast array of improvements is in the pipeline for match days at Rovers. In the clubhouse, the Gallery

has had extensive refurbishments taking what was already a great viewing point for a game to a

whole new level. You can enjoy the match from the Gallery with tickets at just £30 to include an excellent

3-Course Lunch and exclusive pre-match and after match interviews with players, coaches and other

special guests. We have also teamed up with local Radio, Ridings FM to enhance the match

Dance Academy as part of the pre-match and half-time entertainment.

Stadium Developments

Communications and activity surrounding our desire to redevelop the land at Post Office Road have begun

to gather pace after a frustrating period pre and post Chris tmas. Just this week we have received another

positive piece of correspondence regarding the required access to the land and we hope that things can really

begin to kick on from here. Further news following the latest Featherstone Renaissance Steering Group

meeting earlier this week will be released in a separate eNewsletter

Online Shop

The online shop at Featherstone continues to grow with regular new products available. If you’ve ever

made a purchase online you’ll know how simple it is and you’ll be familiar with the structure. If you

haven’t, why not take a look and few the various product categories, you may spot something you like!

Rovers 2010 Away Kit Launch

The 2010 Away kit will be launched on Thursday 25th February in The Atrium. Past greats will be on hand to

issue the away kit to the current playing staff. Paul Newlove, Harold Box, Dale Fennel and Mal Dixon are

among a group of 10 legends on hand for photos and signatures. Each current player will be presented with

his shirt from players who been to the very top of the sport during their careers, questions will be put forward by

DVD Commentator Martin Overton and Head Coach Daryl Powell in what should be an entertaining evening

for all in attendance. The Away shirt itself will be on sale throughout the evening, doors open at 7pm if you

wish to view the evenings training session and proceedings should be under way from 8.30pm.

no better time to book your table and we look forward to welcoming a number of new companies to the club this

season. If you would like to experience this great afternoon/evening, why not get a group together or put your

company forward and we will make contact on your behalf. Various packages are available to meet every budget, you won’t be disappointed.

Player Kit Sponsors

In the 2010 Match Day Programme there will be a double page spread for player kit sponsorship; this is a great

value package at just £100 which includes a current Home or Away Shirt of your chosen size! At the time of

writing there are just a few players still looking for a sponsor? If you’re interested please make contact with

Kevin Preston at the club office (01977 702386).

Went and bought the family ticket this morning, only three sold so far for the Batley game. Hopefully a good result this Sunday for both sides will get a few more coming a long.

Apparently no match tickets have been bought with the free pint offer!
