7:40am and not looking very good. Snowing and settling. Hope we are not called off AGAIN. What time will the pitch be inspected if there is doubt?

I was wondering if their would be a pitch inspection, as there is a couple of inches up here already, though I'm actually currently nearer Rochdale than Fev! Anyone know what time it is likely to be if there is one, as it's an 80 mile round trip that I don't want to do if the game is off.

Players can play without a problem on fresh snow, as Dewsbury/Batley did at christmas. Just clear the lines and let them get on with it. The problem will be the health and safety brigade who will be scared to death of someone slipping. I hope common sense prevails and if the pitch is playable then the game goes ahead.
