PJT Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 I reckon it will be a weaker team with season starting sunday, maybe get to see PNG pair get a game Depends what comes out of Powell's team selection tombola.
Rarefrith Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 Thats me not going then as its Leeds United v Oldham!! Hope we put the reserves out now as Batley is all that matters thanks to our first two results in the NRC!!
sidnee Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 Another game I will miss due to work The weather can be so inconsiderate The weak conform, the strong survive.
FevDean32 Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 It might not even be on thesday as this is forcast all week and even into next weekend.
The Baby Faced Assassin. Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 Bah! This summer rugby is over rated, at least it gives me chance to mow the lawn or may take the kids to Brid for the afternoon instead
sidnee Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 Its this global warming, 'I just can't takes it no more' The weak conform, the strong survive.
Griff Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 Its this global warming, Don't get me on about global warming!! It's only warm compared with cold years, apparently. "We'll sell you a seat .... but you'll only need the edge of it!"
Steve Slater Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 The weather forecast says there's a chance of snow on each of the next 3 days.
Griff Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 I looked at the BBC site and it said "heavy snow" on Wednesday. A couple of hours later it said "might be a bit of sleet". Why don't they come clean and just say "We've no idea - what do you think?" "We'll sell you a seat .... but you'll only need the edge of it!"
sidnee Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 Looking at it outside now, the match could quite possibly of gone ahead. Most of the snow has now thawed or turned to slush. Hindsight is such a wonderful thing. The weak conform, the strong survive.
elppaxr2i Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 (edited) Looking at it outside now, the match could quite possibly of gone ahead. Most of the snow has now thawed or turned to slush. Hindsight is such a wonderful thing. It might look alright but theyve just taken one of my neighbours to hospital in an ambulance who has just slipped in it so maybe not as good underfoot as it appears (im only nr kings croft) Edited February 21, 2010 by elppaxr2i
FevDean32 Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 Could they have delayed kick off until 6pm?
The Baby Faced Assassin. Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 Could they have delayed kick off until 6pm? I doubt it as it will be freezing over by then so even worse for the pitch and terracing. I think this will happen on Tuesday night looking at the forecast with temps down to minus 5 once it gets dark
