Now i normally buy sun and my mate buys star, today in sun they were talking about hunslet announcing the capture of wayne pryce. Meanwhile in star they said that if john kear gets england job then wakefield will turn to none other than our own darryll powell, normally dont believe anything the star prints but this one got me interested, any thoughts?

If any of the article had the dreaded "un-named source" in them ya can bet ya life it was a quiet day and the reporter made it up. When i lived in Selby a mate of mine was a reporter for the Selby Times, his gaffer used to make stuff up all the time and use the "un-named source" to cover his tracks.

My mate who plays For Wakefield told me that other week about kear and powell and he said he heard also we r supposed to be getting chris chester as coach.

I love rumours, some make you think "yeh maybe" and others just make you laugh out loud. But for sure forums would be dull places without em.

You've got to remember, the biggest part of this rumour is that Kear will become England coach when he seems to be enjoying life at Wakefield and has already coached England and GB.
