think you have given workington too much credit in the opening statement

'p*ss poor' would have sufficed :D

that's not very nice, it's not too long ago we were p*ss poor ourselves, but we didn't like being told so.

Apparently, Workington sent down a team just to fulfil the fixture, and for most of the match had 3/4's playing at second row. Suppose it's upto them what squad they send, but they cant complain about the comments if they are using this tactic.

Cummins Out.

well unfortuneatly when you put in a performance like they did, play people out of posistion it seems, bring barely a handful of fans and get a share of the gate for that feeble effort you should expect strong criticism, that was the worst team i have seen this decade, so stand by my original comments

weve had dark days but the support was still there at least home and away regardless of the mileage and potential result

how far back are you going, cos we've had darker days than that. the home support wasn't even there. we had visiting directors paying to get in just to help us out. sorry, but when your down the last thing you want is kicking.

Not always mate, I remember going upto Whitehaven one Wed night and apart from those that went on the team bus, directors and such, there was about 12 of us. Can't remember all the details but my good friend Lorne will fill in the blanks.

In a very recent challenge cup tie at Hull K R a couple of years ago. My daughter and I felt isolated in the crowd as not the usual entourage went to watch Fev. The few that went were scattered around the stand. It felt daunting and intimidating.
