Is everyone sitting comfortable? Then I'll begin ladies and gents.

Rugby Legaue Live 2010 is the brand new Rugby League console game available for the PS3, X BOX 360 and the PC and is packed with the following features:

Looking at the screenshots, we have Leeds scoring for fun against the Bulls and Huddersfield in the grand final at Old Trafford beating Warrington

That's Bosc in Les Cats red kit and it can't be Bradford - the defenders are all looking the right way.

Seeing this thread on my morning break today got me through the rest of a very slow and boring shift. This game looks amazing and I'm already very excited. I hope it actually arrives on this date (2 days before my birthday, so shouldn't have to shell out) as HES pushed back Rugby League 3 for the wii to march this year from December last year, and i believe it is HES with this game aswell. On the Sidhe forum before RL3 came out they were saying that to there knowledge nobody is developing a rugby league game for these platforms, and so it turns out that THEY were all along. If i've got the right end of the stick. Either way those screen shots have got me very excited and the ones i saw on ign briefly on my mobile this morning do too. When i get on my laptop at some point I'll have a proper read up. And the guy who said co-operative teams aren't involved, it says 40+ liscensed teams, surely they'll be involved in the game. I want to see virtual HD Stanley Gene.

Seems like a crafty way to sell the same game twice to me. Would have much preferred them to release rl3 on the wii with latest kits and online gameplay. I guess I'll have to get this one as well now, and an xbox360 to boot. How much are they now?

I think Rugby League 3 is a very good game. I enjoyed playing that alot, but the Graphics look amazing for RL Live.

To clarify the role of Sidhe in this

- Big Ant (based in Melbourne) are the developer of the title
- Sidhe were not involved in the development of this title, though we were aware it was in development from the outset
- Sidhe did provide some QA testing resource towards the backend of the project, though was not the primary testing resource
- Rugby League Live is not a port of Rugby League 3. It is a seperate title based on different technology.
- Some commentary, stadium, and motion capture/animation data from Sidhe RL titles was supplied to Big Ant to assist with development, but it is not clear how this may have been used in conjunction with new assets created by Big Ant in the final version.
