I'm sorry but Steve Ganson was stood there looking at it and failed to see Paul Cooke drop the ball over the line and he gives the try.

The Hull fans have every right to be shouting obscenities at him.

I think you'll find that once Mr Cummings has had a look at it on Monday morning it'll have been the correct decision.

Well I hope the rule book is ammended then to say that you can just drop the ball over the line.

I agree that Hull fans have every right to complain, but not shout obcenities. They should follow the lead of their players and coach.

I suggest this thread be locked before it becomes a referee bashing one

Rule books - how old-fashioned and quaint.

These boys like to make it up as they go along - you must have noticed?

But it shouldn't have been given mate.

All that this proves is that when people say the ref should have seen it he was in a great position they are wrong.

I would have liked Sky to re-show that at full speed to show how it would appear from behind the line to Ganson.

No, let's leave it open and make it a fan bashing one.

I think a 40 grand fine is well in order - for Wakey that is - after all it's in their ground that these obscenities have been shouted and I haven't heard any tannoy announcements requesting that they stop it.

Nobody complained until Sky showed it in ultra slow replay, I didn't here the commentators mention it or the Hull supporters baying for blood until that point.

Agree with that, the slow-mo did put Ganson at a disadvantage, but he was looking at straight at it.

These are 30k a year full time officials who shouldn't be making these errors.

Fair enough - only my view ;)

Like Padge says, Sky should only show slo-mo when it goes to the video ref - otherwise it should stay on normal speed

A trifling irrelevance dear boy, a mere bagatelle don't you know.

I think you'll find that if this game stays close and Wakefield only win by four points, that call will be very most relevant.

Lots of players earn miles more than that.

They make errors.

They're human, the pay doesn't alter that.

Haven't seen the incident at any speed, but if Ganson thought it was grounded, he must have been certain from his 1 and only view at full speed.

What, you mean an inexplicably poor decision made by an RFL official might just favour Leeds' chances of finishing in the top four as opposed to Hull's?

How cynical, The RFL actually favouring Leeds - I can't believe that you would even suggest such a thing.
