Good news mate.
Hopefully sometime soon the RFL will come down hard on clubs like Hull KR for their approach of trying to shoehorn as many pseudo-brits into their side as possible.
When my own club get to SL, hopefully our awesome u16 and u18 sides will provide us with a nice backbone too. Both are in the upper echelons of leagues where it is us against the SL clubs youth setups.
Yet another result against the best SL has to offer this weekend. Widnes 27 Saints 26 in the u18 academy. Widnes are killing it at youth level just now.

Now then, how many of your favourite Leeds players were actually from Leeds?

The majority are though our academy system.
Plus 3 GF's in a row to show for it.

9 born in the fair city of leeds, lee smith, ryan hall, danny mguire, jamie peacock, ryan bailey, carl ablett, paul mcshane, clarkson and jamie jones buchanan. I'd challenge any club to beat that this season. Winning three in a row with lads born in your own city makes it so much sweeter.

11 years of magnanimity, as Wigan let the little teams win for a change.
"Perhaps it would be better that future criticism of sports be made on the narrow basis of what is being discussed, without reference to other sports, unless those sports offer a solution to the problem in hand." - Brian 'Pigface' Moore
"What happens in rugby union? A player takes the ball, moves forward a little and gets tackled. A whole load of players then roll about on the ground. Pheep! The referee gives a penalty." - Simon Barnes

Ah yes, someone from Leeds would know all about long times between winning trophies, it being their speciality for over 100 years.
