Anyone off to the pub to watch the Wigan-Warrington 3D game on Friday? I know SKY have that '3d pubs' list but there aren't many round by me. I'm going to see it though, should be good.

You need special glasses to see 3D.

Is the pub providing them or are you buying them?

If neither then you wiill only see a distorted picture.

Don't worry chief, it's all sorted. I have some of those blue & red wrappers from the Quality Street tin.

I still think everyone attending the game should wear their sunglasses at kick off for a laugh cool.gif

Imagine if Solomona gets pushed towards a camera in 3D.

It's going to cause mass panic and stampedes in the pubs as people rush to avoid being flattened.

I was chatting to Bill Arthur about this a couple of weeks back. Apparently for 3D games Sky use only two 3D cameras. God knows how that works for full match coverage.

Most pubs I go in are 3D although I did go into a 2D pub once. Never again though, the beer was flat.

When I've been to see the Premier League in 3D, the pub does provide glasses - but they cost 1. You can take your own though if you haven't got any or you're a tight Yorkshireman like me

Ah right

I called the 3 pubs near me that are show 3D and got through to one. They're showing the match and will supply glasses, but didn't mention a fee.

Gonna try the other 2 later tonight as that one's in a rough area

In Hertfordshire!???

Try living in Bradford, you wuss.

Mind you, I never feel comfortable drinking in Keighley. Have you ever seen the opening five minutes of "An American Werefolf in London"?

you know what i have never ever watched a wigan home game in the pub, and probably never will. biggrin.gif

I look around
I search the skies
I shade my eyes
So nearly blind
And I see signs of half remembered days
I hear bells that chime in strange familiar ways
I recognise...
The hope you kindle in your eyes

Anyone thinking of going to watch the game in Guisley at 'The Station'...don't. They don't have 3D anymore, despite it saying in the local rag that they are showing it. Its on at Cue Gardens behind Odsal though.

My brother says Cue Gardens next to Odsal has it in 3D.
