Its very nice in Brisbane at the Castlemaine Brewery or indeed Australia wide.

You can try the orginal XXX and the XXXX from an oak barrel that they send to the wharfies.

Miles better than the stuff brewed overhere with water from Northampton or where-ever.

Carlsberg Export - "So good the Dane's hate to see it leave."

(Just as well that it goes nowhere near Denmark then...)

Anybody who actually drinks lager should not be allowed to enter into a conversation about beer.

Do you have to reach for the tissues before you crack open a can of XXXX?

I have no idea why you don't just do us all a favour, and ###### off to your beloved Australia.

I love beer snobbery. How the feck can anybody be snobby over the fact that they prefer a beer over lager?

If it makes them feel self-important then go for it, tossers.

Well said, theres nothing worse than a real ale bore telling you to drink a pint of old tramps knackers or whatever because its a proper mans drink, not that lager stuff. Ill drink whatever the hell I like you boring get.

As i brew my own beer i think i'm qualified enough to comment.

I'd rather drink XXXX from Brisbane that John Smith's smoothflow the same way as i'd rather drink Leeds Pale Ale over XXXX brewed in this country.

Its all about the ingredients and being true to where it SHOULD be brewed.

How about IPA's, would you class them as an ale, or a lager?

I'd be intruiged to know.
