The Super League club’s victory at Wembley, its first major trophy since 1974, was a major factor in a 19% increase in Warrington Sports Holdings’ turnover, to £5.74m.
It made a marginal profit, of £27,800, in the year to November 2009, compared with a loss of £348,000 a year earlier.
Reaching the Challenge Cup Final for the first time since 1990 had a massive and immediate effect on revenues, with the club taking £500,000 in just three days through ticket and merchandise sales.

Just shows how important the Challenge Cup is to clubs, despite its knockers!
Warrington are booming at the moment and I think all will agree it is fantastic for the game that we have a club like this in our great game.
