All i did was phone to say I was cancelling(still had an old sky box not a +)wouldn't pay for a new box, and was told as a valued customer I could upgrade to HD and just pay for the installation.Told them give us it for free and we won't cancel, bingo, free HD for the year. You've got to be persistent with them, quite a few of my mates did the same and got the same result.
Leeds Rhinos,STILL the only Grand Final winning club NOT to have cheated the salary cap.WCC Champions 2012.

I've been Sky+ing the 4 games every week and I'm still trying to catch up so when it goes subscription I won't be bothering. I'm about 5 weeks behind so I've got 20 games lined up to watch. That'll do me!
Maybe next year.
Get the Panters vs Eels game on now mate = CLASSIC

Panters, eh? I'd like to see their mascot...
(That was no classic. More of a flash in the pan)

A lot of Yorkshiremen believe that when God created the world, he made it with perfect balance.
He balanced the hot areas with the cold areas. the dry areas with the wet areas.
And, in creating Yorkshire, he created the most glorious place on earth - full of majestic beauty and sporting giants.........and for balance he created....... Lancashire.

Me too.
Last one I watched was St George/Penrith played around 3rd/4th of July.
Just because you think everyone hates you doesn't mean they don't.

It's worth it just for the commentary alone. Light years ahead of Eddie and Stevo.
Love the commentary, make average games sound great. The missus made a comment about the Broncos - St George game saying it sounds a great game based on her hearing the noise from Warren and Gus.
I would like to see the match analysis shown though, sounds like a lot of banter being thrown about unlike the boring state the obvious football pundits we have in the premiership.

I'm not saying it's how it will be with these, but with every Sky channel, you have to be subscribing to that channel at that time to watch something that you have recorded on it.

i assume he might have copied them off Sky as i am sure that a standard Sky+ box won't hold 20 games.

The HD Box holds 80 hours and it's the same with the Virgin box, although you can get one that holds 160 hours meaning a lot of games.

Well, I just signed up now, as I realised there is a gaping hole in Saturday mornings.
The Rabbitos v Tigers (Burgess v Ellis) coming up, and I'll not see it.

Question for all those subscribing to Premier Sports who have a Sky+ box (Safe to say I'm not talking to that many). I know they've put series link on the live matches but, is it just me, or does it not work?

Well mines a standard sky+ box and doesn't hold 80 hours each game takes up 6/7% free space which means i could only get about 15 games on, and that's without recording anything else.

I'm pretty sure if you stop subscribing to a channel, you can no longer watch anything you recorded off it on Sky+. I did read that you can sky+ programmes from a channel you don't subscribe to, and it will tape it for you, and then you can subscribe for a couple of months and watch all the shows you've taped. Apparently some people do this with Sky Movies.

I've fired an email off to them asking them to dump the Saturday 10:30am game for the rest of the season because thats the slot the NRL are dumping all the nothing on them in terms of top 8 games.
For example this Saturday 10:30am sees 12th v 13th and the weekend after sees a choice of 16th v 15th or 13th v 14th.
Suggested they do both Friday Night games instead. They seem to listen to us fans so hopefully they'll do this.
