See you Friday and may the best team win.
There used to be a Saints supporters bus that ran from the stations to the ground - always got on with my Bulls stuff on though no bother. That still going Saints fans? Not been for a couple of seasons.

Are you going Friday mate?
I hope to get there early and have a good walk around all four stands, I'm still waiting on the club to email me back with regards to this request.

Not sure on this one, although a bus service for supporters does exist from town.

Probably not actually - although due to work rather than trying to avoid watching us us getting paggered.
Shame - would love to watch us play at KR one last time.

Yes it runs from Lea Green next station from Junction so Mick stay on 1 more stop & catch the supprters bus direct to KR (unless you are coming ridiculously early)

I'll be coming ridiculously early
I was too young at the time to appreciate my last ever visit to Central Park back in 1999 (Wigan 14-0 Bradford) so I want to spend some good time inside Knowsley Road on Friday evening because we'll be losing a classic Rugby League ground.

I'll be over too early to catch that mate as I'm going for a stadium tour before the game as it'll be last ever visit to Knowsley Road.
Plus the young Bulls kick-off at 5:45pm and after watching them win away at Hull KR last time out, I'll be wanting to watch that before the main game.
Cheers for the info though. .

Why would someone get the train to St Helens then use a skateboard to travel to the ground? He would be better getting a taxi or a bus.

Be cheaper than a cab

No, surely it is cheaper to get a cab than buy a skateboard? Even a basic one would be more expensive than a short cab ride surely? terrywebb simply hasn't thought this one through and is giving silly advice to would be attendees....got to be bad for any floating voters thinking of attending the match but would clearly be put off by the thought of travelling on skateboards.

We've had it long enough, surprisingly by posters on this thread, what comes around........
