Not quite all. It's a difficult and costly journey over to Widnes from Sheffield on a Thursday night and considering the match was on Sky, AND we don't have a good record at Widnes, a lot of people would have been content to watch on TV. Regarding Batley creeping up on us and pipping us at the death, Widnes fans should know all about that. And there were actually 12 of us there last night!!

I had a feeling that we needn't have worried even if we had gone down to Leigh,- you can only have so many "flashes in the pan" in one season! Pity one of them was against us in the cup! ;)

Disapointed not to see Widnes tonk Barrow at Barrow on the telly. The foregone conclusion of leigh beating the Seagulls will be a dull affair I fear! It was common knowledge that Leigh would allow Sheffield at least the bonus point to ensure they would not have to face their bogey side Batley

Still it gives me another chance to play "Spot the Eagle fan" on the telly

Yet more soar grapes - bit of a laf as upto half way through this season it was difficult to spot a dog fan at their HOME match and the only game they travel to is at the Rams. Look forward to whipping them again next season!
