Presumably your travel arrangements included a removal van so you could take the bleeding bed with you when you left.

I got booked last Friday, 3 nights at the Mercure in the centre of town for £240. I have been trying to book the Marriott which is also in the centre of town but they hadn't released prices until today. They are asking £175 per room per night for the Friday and Saturday including breakfast which when you compare it with their rate of £105 per night for the weekend 2 weeks earlier really is taking the you know what. I don't mind paying a little extra for a good hotel but that is beyond a little extra. When I was looking on Friday the Holiday Inn had prices starting from £230 for the 3 nights, they now start at £347. Another huge price hike and that was overnight!!!

I've stayed in the The Wyndham Arms before and I did look into it but it's already booked up for that weekend.
Edit ** I was trying to book for the 11th August 2010

Dawson is off to Cardiff with Old Frightful and Roy Boy and will be sharing a room with a Rovers fan.
I'd like to think I'll also get to share bodily fluids with Hanners, but I can't see that dream coming true.

They were coaching at Woodhouse Grove, a fee-paying independent school where the boys historically only play rugby union against other public schools. The school and the (former) Bulls training centre are on adjoining sections of land at Apperley Bridge.

I have no beef with them training anybody - I just thought it a bit odd to have their training center at a school with no real interest in rugby league,

The training pitches belong to Bradford Council, though the Bulls have now moved to Tong School. Bradford City shared the facility and were also due to move but, because they couldn't find anywhere equivalent have stayed there. The cynic in me thinks that Bradford Council has plans for the playing fields at Apperley Bridge, probably housing or a mosque.

Now then, it's a race between Sandie....and Fairburn....and the little man is in........yeees he's in.
I, just like those Castleford supporters felt that the ball should have gone to David Plange but he put the bit betwen his teeth...and it was a try
Kevin Ward - best player I have ever seen

The real Mick Gledhill is what you see on here, a Bradford fan ........, but deep down knows that Bradford are just not good enough to challenge the likes of Leeds & St Helens.

A lot of Yorkshiremen believe that when God created the world, he made it with perfect balance.
He balanced the hot areas with the cold areas. the dry areas with the wet areas.
And, in creating Yorkshire, he created the most glorious place on earth - full of majestic beauty and sporting giants.........and for balance he created....... Lancashire.
