The former Great Britain manager, Hull Kingston Rovers, Hull FC and Widnes player is to join a long list of Rugby League greats at the George Hotel in Huddersfield on Sunday.
Great news for a man respected throughout the sport of Rugby League.
Although don't remind the Hull FC supporters of that missed kick at goal that lost them the 1958 Championship title.
Sorry Rob

Yeah but he did counterbalance that by selling Craven Park and leading Rovers into the wilderness.

He did kick one off the touchline that won us the 1956 Championship though.

As well as his attempt to shaft us in 1999 backfiring in a way he could never have imagined.
