Will be on weekend commencing Sept 11th.

Wigan Athletic are at home to Sunderland on the Saturday, September 11th. 3pm kick off.

What will happen here? huh.gif
On 13/2/2013, Hull City's owners the Allams, released a statement in their position as the owners of the KC Stadium Management Committee. One line in this statement read as follows....

"The SMC's principal responsibility is to remain neutral"

Play them both at the same time. Show those footballers what real sportmen look like.

The Hull/Leeds game is going to be good with the loser going to the Pie Dome.

Late game on Sunday appears the most likely scenario - but up to the RFL or Sky in the end.

Whelan as far as I know is content to allow Latics to play within 24 hours if they are before the rugby, but not afterwards.

No the winners go to Wigan. If Leeds lose they'll probably finish 6th.

Wigan v Leeds

Saints v Wire

Hudds v Crusaders

Hull v Hull KR

Thats my 1st round predictions

A lot of Yorkshiremen believe that when God created the world, he made it with perfect balance.
He balanced the hot areas with the cold areas. the dry areas with the wet areas.
And, in creating Yorkshire, he created the most glorious place on earth - full of majestic beauty and sporting giants.........and for balance he created....... Lancashire.

The way Latics are going the Whelan will want the game to be played Friday night, a.) to blame the rugby for another 6-0 thrashing, b.) to get well in with the rugby as his football team goes to oblivion.

Ditto Hull. Only a point ahead of Huddersfield.

Hudds will finish 5th if they win, it seems to me.
Astute analysis from a Wigan fan:

Rumour going around Headingley that Wire will have to play the second half with 12 men.

It seems that they forgot to bring the half time oranges, and Solomona ate Chris Bridge instead.

Don't know why he was hungry, as he looked as though he had eaten the whole youth team before the game started.

Thats my 1st round predictions

Reckon Rovers will beat Crusaders, leaving Hudds to play Cas.

That's 4 pretty big games there. 3 local derbies and the two biggest clubs in the league at the moment in the 4th game.
