I had an argument pre tri-nations final that NEwlove was better than Inglis. I will always always stand by this. Best centre i've seen. * i don't remember if he was a good defender or not so please don't spoil it. He also never played for Cas.
We don't celebrate people like him enough. This guy and others of his ilk should never have to work again.

Wello is a great servant but I would rate Geoff Pimblett's all round game better.
Loughlin was a world beater with a casual attitude.
Struggling for a stand off - didn't Walsh play there quite a bit, or you could put Bishop in at 7 and Murphy 6.

In the case of Meninga I think Saints fans must have gone for players who have stayed at the club for a reasonable amount of time

First player that sprang to my mind too. I thought he was a genius.
The second one was Steve Prescott. I'd have him in ahead of Wellens any day.
