A bit of work needed by the "special one".

Really disappointed with the Warrington showing - a Huddersfield win kills any possibility of a Saints / Wigan semi-final to close KR, as I think they may have been otherwise tempted to send Warrington to Leeds after the job they did on them in the CC final.

Saying that, if Wigan can get past Leeds, I fancy us beating Saints on the wide pitch at OT where the extra pace in our outside backs would be telling.

There was never any possibility of Saints choosing Wigan rather than Wire.

Saints at home to Wire is as good as a bye.

Not that that's going to be an issue as I am conceding that barring a miracle, Saints will be playing Huddersfield next week.

Last new RL ground (81): Covert Lane, Aylestone - Leicester v Sheffield Hallam 28/6/14

Super League the only place in the world where people still believe that less competitors and a closed market to new competition will improve the quality of the product.

Even the Chinese and the Cubans gave up on these marxist principles years ago.

SL with a reduced number of competitors and a closed market = North Korea.

I don't know the attendance, but I hope this is the last we hear of Warrington having a go at Saints crowds.

Surely Briers should be on report and banned for one match and then appealled and get it revoked?

Or have the ref decided that the lawyers can do without another pay day.

Even the refs are thinking that the RFL disciplinary is a joke.

If Saints had any cojones they would want to test themselves with a last derby at KR, close it in style and right the perceived wrong of the 10-18 defeat on Good Friday.

Is it just me or has Clarke left the bunkham at home today and is talking more about RL and tactics rather than silly playing 8ths of a boxing match or what ever he was waffling on about yesterday.

Well I've been consistent and said that Saints would pick Wigan over Wire and then either Hull KR or Huddersfield if they get through.

Potter has been to both games. But I reckon Huddersfield will be the choice.

Watching this 2nd half huddersfield have been a little sloppy in places. Unlike Wigan who where proffesional through out.

Huddersfield are still likely to be picked.

I'd prefer a Saints v Wigan for the occasion, but I actually think we are more likely to beat you in the GF on a wider pitch if we can squeeze past Leeds - not unthinkable given we are 2 - 2 in matches this season against them (both narrow defeats for Wigan and heavier defeats for Leeds) and they will be missing Peacock again and now McGuire.
