Adrain Morley

Sam Tomkins

Pat Richards

Discuss?

Adrian Morley

Now then, it's a race between Sandie....and Fairburn....and the little man is in........yeees he's in.

I, just like those Castleford supporters felt that the ball should have gone to David Plange but he put the bit betwen his teeth...and it was a try

Kevin Ward - best player I have ever seen

The real Mick Gledhill is what you see on here, a Bradford fan ........, but deep down knows that Bradford are just not good enough to challenge the likes of Leeds & St Helens.

I'd agree with Morley....usual high standards, does all the little things right, has wiped most of the poor tackle technique out of his game. Richards has impressed me this year too, but I'd vote against Tomkins just for the things he does to get cheap penalties...he's turning into an annoying little git :-D

Richards.

I have no idea how Morley even gets a nomination.

He has been a good player in his time, but he hasn't done anything special this year.

The MOS award is fast becoming the vehicle for a sentimental send off for RL AOP's.

I'm surprised Cunningham isn't in there as well.

Morley by a country mile. Something badly wrong if he doesn't get it after his efforts this year.

2009 Warrington 25 Hudderfield 16

2010 Warrington 30 Leeds 6

2011 League Leaders Shield Winners

2012 Warrington 35 Leeds 18

Challenge cups and league leaders shields everywhere! We need more silver polish!

Take your rose tinted specs off B)

Morley has been outstanding this season, has even played 80 mins on a couple of occasions.

One thing to remember Hannibal, its the players decision :O not ours.

Tomkins and Richards have already won the Goldthorpe Medal and Richards was the Writers' Player of the Year, so they have both been recognised for their efforts. Either would be worthy winners - indeed, you could make a case for any of the 3 of them. If Richards does not win this, then it is hard to see how a winger could ever win it.

That seems something of an over reaction - did you watch Morley's anonymous performance on Friday, after being rested the week before as well (how Steely is that - "take a week off, love"?)? Richards made what could well have been the match winning break, missed one kickable penalty and then kicked one, and one touch line conversion. His last minute penalty was hardly Don Fox territory.

Each to his own of course, but I wonder whether you could honestly compare and contrast Morley and Richards' play off contributions and give the award to Morley. Now, if actually you just dislike all things Wigan or think that an outside back cannot win this, then they are perfectly valid reasons not to back Richards.

EW, i have no issue with Wigan RLFC....i have issues with a few fans. (certainly not you :) )

Richards has been brillant this year, fantastic scoring record and plenty of goals

Morley has been great for Wires, pushed the team forward.

either deserve the MOS.

Bad week at the office for Morley last week, but remember the award is for the efforts all year.

Bad week goal kicking for richards

Goal kicking will not win MOS, but richards all round game has been superb.

How will the players vote???

Remember wonderful tries or being battered in the tackle

Delivering that killer pass or hurting when trying to tackle morley

Warrington players can't vote for Morley, so their pick is tomkins or richards

Wigan players can only vote for Morley.... interesting when you think about the shortlist.

In truth, i am gob smacked Ben Westwood hasn't been shortlisted.

E/W i have championed the Pies this season go back through the posts at the start of the season, infact i said you would win the opening 10 games i was that confident of your start / team

Recently i have got ###### off with some of your fans hence the banter, but i truth you have a fair reaction from me......

regards

Paul

If a half back is not ****ing of his opponants, he's not doing his job properly.

Whilst I think this post is slightly OTT, as IMHO Morley has been excellent again this year, I do agree with your point to an extent.

IMO Morley hasn't actually been our best player, with Westwood sweeping the board at the club awards ceremony.

Not interested in scoring cheap points through digs, I would be happy for any of these three to win, and would not argue with it at all.
