I'd join you if you were in a decent pub.The Wetherspoons pub on Deansgate is a dump.
Much better (although much smaller)is the Waterhouse(also Wetherspoons)on Princess Street.

Are you talking about the same pub, the Moon Under Water?...I've not been for a couple of years, but it was always fine then

Erm, hello.
Not been round these parts for a while.
But I do seem to be in possession of a ticket for the match so it would be rude not to pop into the pub really...

A lot of Yorkshiremen believe that when God created the world, he made it with perfect balance.
He balanced the hot areas with the cold areas. the dry areas with the wet areas.
And, in creating Yorkshire, he created the most glorious place on earth - full of majestic beauty and sporting giants.........and for balance he created....... Lancashire.

I've not met many from this forum but the ones I have met I've found to be top people.
Combine a great love and enthusiasm for RL with a not too serious take on the daily goings on on the forum and it usually makes for endless discussion and amusement.
And you may be surprised at the person you meet who is nothing like their persona or how you imagined they look like.
I'll never forget the look of sheer astonishment on John M.'s face when I introduced him to Mick Gledhill, a bloke he'd been stood next to for a few minutes without knowing who he was.
"THE Mick Gledhill?" he spluttered, "I thought you were small and wiry".

On 13/2/2013, Hull City's owners the Allams, released a statement in their position as the owners of the KC Stadium Management Committee. One line in this statement read as follows....
"The SMC's principal responsibility is to remain neutral"

I can't make it, I'm afraid, but I'd encourage anyone who can to go along to this. There is no better way of breaking down barriers than meeting people face to face. My own experience of these kind of do's is that people are always much nicer in real life and generally nothing like you imagine from their keyboard profiles. Well, some are. The nice folk on here are nice in real life, but the scary ones always turn out to be nice too!
The more forum members get the chance to meet each other the better, and the friendlier this place will get, which lets face it, it could do with.
Enjoy.

Now then, it's a race between Sandie....and Fairburn....and the little man is in........yeees he's in.
I, just like those Castleford supporters felt that the ball should have gone to David Plange but he put the bit betwen his teeth...and it was a try
Kevin Ward - best player I have ever seen

The real Mick Gledhill is what you see on here, a Bradford fan ........, but deep down knows that Bradford are just not good enough to challenge the likes of Leeds & St Helens.
