If this game that kicks off in 15 minutes can attract/persuade half of the Crusaders support to come and watch International Rugby League at the Racecourse tonight then I think that will be seen as good news.

I know tickets have been priced at £10 for adults and £5 for children.

Not to mention this is the game that sees Gareth Thomas makes his first ever appearance in a Wales Rugby League shirt.

So expect some serious column space in the nationals tomorrow.

Wales 6-0 Italy after 25:00 minutes.

This Italian performance could hold well for the future when added to last years 42-12 victory over Serbia in the European Cup fifth-sixth play-off match.

Well this is a turn up for the books I must say but overall it's a great score for International Rugby League.

Well if they ran Lebanon close (didn't they?) they have to be a decent side, plenty of Aussies in there too, but as long as they have Italian names, I'm happy with that.

Come on Wales. Dramatic victory needed.
