I watched this last night. Sad in a way to see Alex go, he was so bloody useless that he made for good TV. Would have preferred that uselss tart that wanted to "pitch" go.

Agreed.

I would also add completely deluded to bloody useless. On the You've been fired show he still couldn’t see just how inept he was at everything he tried to do, and couldn’t recognise that the panel were taking the p*ss out of him.

Laura. A complete whingebag.

We're going to have one episode where she basically has a nervous breakdown and then gets dumped. It will be a very good episode.

Whilst useless, or certainly edited to look that way and it looks like he gave the production team plenty of material, he did seem like a nice enough bloke.

Those ads they came up with made the Shake n Vac commercial look like high art.

Being a nice bloke just isn't enough though (I'm sure you'd agree!). He always struck me as nice but pretty useless and would just fanny around. Out out out!

Yes, although he did have the dubious honour of coming across as still as utterly deluded on "You're Fired" almost a year later - most contestants seem to shed that by the time they get on there

A bit of a damp squib that episode. Inevitable outcome considering that probably the 5 strongest candidates were all in the smae group. The Asian lass still could have gone. Contributed nack all in every task apart from one presentation for a losing team. Amybe Alex couldn't have gone much further but he has a bit more than some of the remaining contestants.

I predict that Stella will be fired next week for murdering Stuart.

He was utterly revolting last night. Not a shred of decency about him, and that shrug when he won deserved a massive punch. Dreadful person.

I honestly have not seen stella do that much at all. She got the credit second week just because the lads had stopped arguing and ever since she has been anonymous, largely. Stuart Baggs is odious and obnoxious but at least he does something and gets involved. He will be out soon though, he is laughable.

There's an episode every series were the decision is so bizarre I start to lose interest, and for me, last nights was the one this series that did it.

Stella did nothing and Stuart carried on making a prat of himself.

Still the return of Margret next week perked up my interest slighty!

I know what you mean - after last night it seemed strange as to why they even bothered doing the task at all since the other two were much more responsable for them being in the boardroom in the first place.

Exactly, the footage of Stuart in his confrontation with the blond haired bloke from the other team would have had him sacked for that alone in most organisations!

I'd also have serious doubts about employing anyone who thought The Thames was the 2nd largest river in London and the width of Big Ben was "20 diameters", thankfully for him being on the winning team saved him!

No - he's right, it is 2nd. The largest is the river of ###### that emanates from this programme.

The most interesting piece of info about Big Ben is, of course, that that moniker refers to the bell inside not the tower - which is St Stephen's clock tower. Also, it's unique chimes have a distinct timbre because the bell is actually cracked.
