ENGLAND might lack the class of Australia and the size of New Zealand in the Four Nations but in Gareth Ellis and Sam Burgess they have the world's best back-rowers.
Burgess's club coach John Lang gave his popular South Sydney import the wrap after he completed a gruelling two-hour training session at Redfern Oval on Friday.
"Sam and Gareth are the best back-rowers in the world," Lang said less than two weeks before Australia kick off their Four Nations campaign.
"They're world class and to win Test matches you need world-class players.

Agree with Lang. We have a world class pack but a national league class backline.

I honestly don't believe Westwood is as far off from Ellis & Burgess skills-wise as people on here claim. The amount of tackles he makes is second to none. I'd agree we have a superb Second Row but I also think most of our positions are pretty strong.

Even as a Wire I am sorry but Westwood is nowhere near as skillful as Super Sam or Ellis. They play in the NRL and have cracked it, Westwood is one of the best tryers we have in the team though.

When youve finished filling your under bed sock over "Super Sam"..
Always thought Ellis was a journeyman Super League player to be honest,
And as for your Westwood quote, im having that.

Wazza's main industrys are service industries, call centres, warehouses and the public sector nowadays. All three are under threat from the Tory cuts.

You mean journeyman in the international regular sense?

The forward pack is class, but the backline isn't bad either. They can all hold their own and have proven themselves at this level.

I love your optimism. Although I'm not convinced myself I will be looking for improvement from last year across the board.

Forwards are ineffective without a decent 7 or 9.
This is where we'll need to play well.

Being fair I believe we can safely say we do have two pretty decent hookers, on the other hand number seven could prove to be a sticking point.
It's my belief that if Robinson fits in he will get the No 7 jersey, I have no doubt he will give his best if he does, but whether that will prove adequete remains to be seen.
If our pack does live up to the hype then Roby could be the star of the comp, he has been superb in the second half of the season past and given a platform to perform from he could shine.
Lunt is an able second string and he could very well be a surprise package to, but that all depends on how dominant the entire pack can be.

Super Sams the man! When his duties at Souths are done he will emulate his hero Mozza and come to Wire I'm told.
