I've just had the same message and was going to ask the same question, apparently he has a poor disciplinary record, don't know how good a player he is though.

Was the text from Gary Hethrington?
He balanced the hot areas with the cold areas. the dry areas with the wet areas.
And, in creating Yorkshire, he created the most glorious place on earth - full of majestic beauty and sporting giants.........and for balance he created....... Lancashire.

Not a great signing for Leeds, especially on a two year contract. If they are hoping to win back their crown in 2011, recruiting this quality of player isn't going to be much help.
To put this in persepective, he's nowhere near as good as Josh Perry, and probably not as good as Ryan O'Hara. Actually, I'd put him on a par with someone like Peter Cusack.

Is he related to Barry Ward?

Suppose it depends how much he's costing us? We definately need some extra beef up front. With Burgess and Peacock back and him and Kylie I'm happy with that.
So long as they all stay fit and in good form then Bailey might not get a look in! Please let it be so.

I think that was actually Ben Ross but could be wrong.
It'll be interesting to see Perry against Peacock and Cross after his run-ins with both of them, though I can't see anything much happening

Grouped around the TV sets
They ran down every lead
They repeated every test
They checked out all the data on their lists
And then the alien anthropologists
Admitted they were still perplexed
But on eliminating every other reason
For our sad demise
They logged the only explanation left
This species has amused itself to death
No tears to cry no feelings left
This species has amused itself to death

Unless of course, he'd signed for anyone else.

Sat on the couch I would think.
