I think people will be bothered, because thats why this thread as been put one, and all those in the know might not have been told or asked to say nothing yet, but saying that went passed the other day and it looked like nothing was being done.

Its a sad indictment of our club that info on ground developments has to come from an "outsider/Chemic"...No offence...
For me, some sort of tier system on the side stand is a must. For the "big" games last year, when a thousand turned up, the side stand was full, and folk had to filter round behind the posts. With anything over a thousand there, viewing becomes limited. I have to say, I may pick my games next year, in that I may well not attend the bigger games cos I know I won't be able to see properly anyway.
Get it sorted...!

I'm sure their was a story running , not that long back, that the football club were looking at a brand new facility of their own, in Hollinwood.
It seems more likely that they have chosen to move on, rather than them being ousted.
I'm generally a "cups half full" kind of guy where the club is concerned. However, if that fugure for some basic cover from the elements is correct, and the club won't shell out a megre £4k for the work, then I won't be going exposing my self to Oldhams weather...I shall be picking my games, according to the weather forecast, especially early in the season....
If the club can't afford the money to keep 400-500 people dry, I certainly can't afford to miss work through pneumonia????
Some ground news on the "ground news" page might be appropriate...!

watching the club.

I have an email from the RFL regarding ground works, this was before the Grand Final last season:
Just to confirm that once a Club has RFL approval that its ground meets minimum standards, it is then entitled to play at either division of the Championship competition

foot tall, hence I expected there to be both an urgent and transparent end of season forward planning gathering with Rugby Oldham ( who have clearly stated their desire to assist in ground development subject to some common sense questions being answered) to address some basic shortcomings at Whitebank as a matter of both urgency and compliance re RFL who cut us massive slack last year.
I know what the problem is, its all so obvious when one thinks about it...Its me...Im Naive regarding the way things are done at the Roughyeds!

Just checked with my mate who gave me the info, and he has confirmed that the figure is £4k.

Fair enough I am probably visualising something a little more substantial then!
Surely this is something to launch an appeal for?
