Fair enough I am probably visualising something a little more substantial then!

Surely this is something to launch an appeal for?
Whale?

I can't see that this can be done for £4K. Terracing and covering? I think surely Singe is nearer the mark at £40K? What is it one step and a roll of bin bags as cover?

But if the £4K price was somehow right, surely the club should be doing it? A bad weather day at Whitebank might take say 200 off the gate due to it being exposed.

Multiply this by 2 games = 400 supporters x £10 each = £4K lost revenue.

This just does not make sense.

We would need 400 fans to throw in a one off £10 payment. They could have mine tomorrow provided I knew with certainty it was going where it was supposed to and not into a CH controlled black hole?

Hi all,

have been passed a few times recently and looks like nothing has been done, were now if the weather is going to become bad in the next couple of weeks, nothing still might not be done.

what i did see was a big either food or beer kiosk on the back of a flatbed truck in the carpark, whether that was for ORLFC i dont know.

Greetings Roughyeds....

I think the £4,000 banded about might actually be the cost for the planning application and not the cost of building a stand.
Any similarity to Queens English is purely coincidental.

If there is a planning application involved, that is probably the hold up.

That makes a lot more sense, and understandable concern about being able to afford it. Not so much just the £4k per se, but the project as whole. You would not want to spend £4k till everything was as water tight as possible.

Can anybody confirm whether the lease has actually been signed? This is more likely the blocker rather than £4k planning app costs.
