Exactly what is in McNamara's HT team talks? laugh.gif Against the NZ M we were 18-0 up and lost the second half 18-0.

Now it appears that, the night before, Agent McNamara gave the England women's team a half time team talk in the test against the Kiwis. They were still in it at 14-6 at half-time and lost the second half 24-0. wink.gif

England women v NZ women report

Cracking quote:

"England head coach Brenda Dobek was joined in the changing sheds by Steve McNamara and both of them gave their thoughts to the England women."

The guy does seam to have an appauling 2nd half record. Maybe he should leave the half time team talk to his back room staff.
Super League the only place in the world where people still believe that less competitors and a closed market to new competition will improve the quality of the product.

Even the Chinese and the Cubans gave up on these marxist principles years ago.

SL with a reduced number of competitors and a closed market = North Korea.

Beggars belief... This is the coach that ended my 30+ years of Odsal attendances...

I actually preferred to watch ANY Super League on Sky or other local games, I deliberately ceased viewing my own team on TV!

AFTER that - he got the England job ohmy.gif

As long as I live - I will never understand his appointment to the job. wacko.gif

Believe me, with him coaching, the first half is nothing to write home about either.

Me Neither, sorry but I cannot come to terms with someone with such a poor almost appalling record in the domestic game, then being elevated to the position of National coach. I have heard of rewarding failure but this appointment takes that anomaly to new heights.

I don't know mate, I think giving Ashley Klien the Challenge Cup final in 2007 after his role in the farce that was Bradford vs Leeds at Cardiff just tops McNamara being given the England job IMO.

Yes I'm back - bought two tickets... Plus another two for a mate & his lad who will travel from Kenilworth for the juicy games (no its not HIM!). Thats an indicator of what the scheme has done...

I thought my world went upside down when Fielden & Deacs put Wigan shirts on - but I think I need CGI to see Diskin in a Bulls shirt... The Leeds fans I speak to are not happy about this!!!

Anyway - have you put money on Mac being fired at the end of the up coming drubbings?
