Just to let you all know that BBC Wales did a behind the scenes piece on Wales v Ireland on the weekend and it goes out on BBC2 Wales this Friday at 7pm. You can get this on Sky Digital nationally in the 900s somewhere!
The fantastic thing is that they've managed to get it shown nationally too. It'll go out before or during the Four Nations programme on Saturday morning which is fantastic to hear.
They are travelling to France too and will be doing a similar piece on the European Cup Final game between France and Wales probably for the same times next week.
Great to see them take an interest. BBC Wales have done well with their online and radio coverage too.

I saw a short clip of the weekend's game on the News the other night and was impressed. It hardly ever happens over the border with the England team...

Thanks Cardiff. Well done BBC Wales. I’ve called them in the past, but to be fair, at least there was a match report on the BBC Sport Wales website. It’s a shame that the European Cup hasn’t been featured on the main BBC Sport RL website. It wouldn’t have taken away any of the attention from the Four Nations coverage as the European Cup has featured players from all parts of the UK, Ireland and France. It’s a shame that BBC Wales or S4C can’t come to some sort of arrangement with the French host broadcaster to show or broadcast the match. I know ‘the final’ between France and Wales can be seen on the internet but my connection is slower than a one-legged tortoise.

Makes a refreshing change this year to see BBC Wales take an interest in us , they were at the Crusaders v Cas match down here earlier in the season , just wish they;d give us a mention of their news bulletins regularly, like the scores for Crusaders and Scorpions . Just spend long enough on any Union related story , even if its what James Hook had for breakfast. If we could get S4C to bring back 'Y CLWB RYGBI XIII' and show Scorpions home games it would be great for our profile and got good viewing figures I beleive, but with the current cut backs ,especially now as S4C are coming under the BBC funding it seems even less unlikely.
