Harris is understood to have signed a three-year contract with the Wrexham-based outfit where he was an assistant to Noble as the Crusaders reached the play-offs.
The saga of whether Harris would take charge after Noble’s one-year contract expired has been on-going since the summer.
Noble was linked with a job in Australia at Penrith Panthers but had a change of mind and wanted to stay with the Crusaders.
But the decision had already been made for Harris to take command.

What now for Noble? Quins pehaps?
Will Harris still coach Wales?

Noble at Quins - can't see that happening. But then again, where else might he go?

Actually this does not come as a surprise. Having noted what Harris got out of his charges in the Welsh side last season, on very short notice, I made the comment on here that I thought he would soon figure in a high profile coaching job.
Should he be capable of getting out of the Crusaders side what he achieved with Wales he could suprise quite a lot of people. Good luck to him.
PS: what was his true input this last season? Maybe that was keenly noted by someone who was observant at the club too, just a thought.

You may be right, but he'd be a fool to take it - I mean, working for "Saint Dessie" is notoriously difficult if you're a coach… just look at how many people Barrow have been through in the last few years.

Probably good news for Welsh players

In my view and experience, Noble did a great job with Crusaders at a difficult time and under difficult circumstances.
To be honest, there is nothing for him here joining another club, apart from uninformed criticism and cold wet winters.
I hope he goes to Australia and becomes as successful as Mal Reilly.

A coach of Noble's experience and ability would be great for Quins, but I can't see it happenming.

About the only option for Nobby now for a Head Coach's job next year is Quins. Apparently there are a few NRL coaches off contract at the end of next season (perhaps the reason he went after the Penrith assistant job for next year?) but I don't see him getting any of them.

He's got no chance at any of those - British coaches aren't rated at all in Oz at present for some reason. Somehow I don't see him succeeding at RU either - if anyone is a true leaguie it must be Noble. He's a good coach and would do a very good job for someone, but he also seems to upset those for whom he has worked previously. I could see Salford lining him up for the following season or Widnes for SL, but that would still leave a hiatus.
Hull it is then!!

Oh please let it be so :-)
I slagged him off as an international coach but his club credentials are very, very good....
If only there was a grassy knoll near the KC - wait a minute!

Harris always talked a very good game and seemed to have an excellent grasp of tactics and the ebb and flow of a match whenever i heard his commentaries etc. I know that that is probably stating the obvious given his long career at the top end of the game but seems like a good appointment for Crusaders.
Also agree though with those that appreciated the job Noble did at Cru.

If something isn’t broke you don’t fix it. Crusaders should’ve stuck with the same coaching set up for next season. If Nobby is going I think it’s got more to do with the internal dynamics of the club than any genuine desire to improve the coaching set up. The only rumours from the club concerning the player signings for next season have been about departures rather than arrivals. I appreciate that the club and South Wales Scorpions are tying to develop indigenous Welsh talent, but the team need to maintain their on field momentum next season even if this means a predominately non-Welsh playing roster in the short term. I think Crusaders should be trying to improve their off field set-up not getting rid of one of the best coaches in the World.

Why?
He took over at Wigan and Crusaders when both were struggling and did pretty well. Everybody expects Bronquins to struggle next season. I'd have thought that choosing a coach with a record of getting the best out of below-average / under-performing players would be a good idea.

Noble would be ideal for a club like Quins. He's done well at Wigan and Crusaders in turning them around maybe he could do the same in London?

Hes nothing more than a journeyman.
He did nothing at Wigan other than make sure any creativity was removed.
If 5 drives and a kick is your Rugby of choice, he will be awesome.
Even as a Wire I am sorry but Westwood is nowhere near as skillful as Super Sam or Ellis.
Wazza's main industrys are service industries, call centres, warehouses and the public sector nowadays. All three are under threat from the Tory cuts.

Admit Noble is not gonna be a trophy winner, he only did it at Bradford on the back of others work. But he can do a good job in making a club stable. Wigan would have dropped down a division if he hadnt come in.

I cannot believe Im doing this ...
Right, If you can tell me the difference between this years SL champions, and the side Noble had to maul with AND come up with a suitable explanation, Il stand corrected.
