Hi guys just wondering if anyone has any new ideas on fundrasing or matchday entertainment for the forthcoming season. Remember we have a small budget so lets be realistic!!
Thanks

"Visit Mount Pleasant and see the Cup holders" or "Come and watch the Cup holders at MP".
At least it will let people know there is a club in Batley and keeps the Cup win in their minds.

Put on some food to sell (i.e pie and peas) and sell drinks (Hot, cold, beer, lager, wine, soft drinks etc).
With it being the run up to Christmas there will be cans of lager, beer etc on special offer in supermarkets which the club could purchase and sell/ask for a donation and make a profit.

half time supporters kick for goal comp or catch a bomb............ 2£ to play with a 50/50 cut to the club and the winning brass keeps going up week by week if there is no match day winner.
we all call the hell out of our back peddling wingers and conversion kickers so lets see if there are better bods on the terraces!
Karl cheers now move on the KEAR IS HERE!

If you ever think of volunteering for organ donation after your death, please please don't tick the 'Brain' box on the form. It wouldn't even be fair to a glass jar in a school science lab if it ended up there.

Admittedly, it did tickle me. I'm just struggling to decide whether someone gave him some help with it or he spent all night awake thinking it up.

I accept that the job is done on a volunteer basis, but if a job is worth doing, its worth doing properly. Its a bit like someone volunteering for the Samaritans and hanging up on a caller because their favourite TV programme is starting. I don't know him, but is the person who volunteers for the job allowed free entry to the games as recognition for his efforts? If so, and that may not be the case at all - I'm simply speculating - does missing the first ten minutes of the game make that much of a difference?
I would also imagine that the £20-30 that is lost every home game due to the car park entrance being unmanned from around 14.55 MORE than equates to what the club would pay someone to do the job.
