Now then, it's a race between Sandie....and Fairburn....and the little man is in........yeees he's in.
I, just like those Castleford supporters felt that the ball should have gone to David Plange but he put the bit betwen his teeth...and it was a try
Kevin Ward - best player I have ever seen

The real Mick Gledhill is what you see on here, a Bradford fan ........, but deep down knows that Bradford are just not good enough to challenge the likes of Leeds & St Helens.

Interesting that the HMRC petition will be paid off subject to them obtaining planning consent.
Is this an attempt to blackmail the council, or does said benefactor stand to gain something from the granting of this consent? I find it hard to believe that it is just some kind soul who couldn't find a better way to get rid of a couple of hundred thousand, but maybe I've become too cynical in my old age.

The fact that there is someone willing to back the club to this level suggests Wakefield will be successfull in the search for new investors and/or new owner.
I think a positive outcome tomorrow (fingers crossed) will signal a number of good news stories for Trinity.

Paid in full to HMRC
Who will HMRC be after now then?

I don't think they do 'em one at a time.
I guess they just go after whoever does not pay the right amount of VAT and corporation tax on time. Taking it off fans and players and Sky and then not passing it on is frowned upon at any time.

I don't know. One thing for sure, Wakefield cannot keep dicing with them without it impacting on their already damaged name with the RFL. They do want a franchise don't they? "Stop messing about Wakefield or ###### off, get your ground sorted and pay the taxman" must surely be the RFL's stance with these jokers.

These jokers who have been taken by HMRC for having the lowest tax bill in RL for image rights. Lets now see who they go for then for this tax. Bet one or two clubs are bricking it
As for Wakey debt cleared now. So let someone else have the negative flack for now having the lowest bill.

This wasn't the yearly tax bill it was a 'one off' demand for years of Image rights for overseas players.
Every other SL club has one and from what I am lead to believe Wakey had the lowest figure of every SL club.
HMRC picked on Wakey as a test case because there was the least at stake should it have gone wrong. This is now settled but all the other clubs are now waiting for their turn and I have heard figures as high as £1m at certain clubs. This is going to hit so people really hard.

When?
Sounds to me like the typical Wakey response. I'm still waiting for them to move into the Oakwell for their home games as promised in 1999, no doubt the world was picking on them at that time too?

Sorry Agbrigg but you seem to apologise for your club and spout their party line at every given opportunity. It's almost like you're in their employ and it's a very biased position that you always maintain.

Whereas you Millman presumeably think you are balance personified, a chip on both shoulders is not the same thing.
