News from a well placed insider in the Skirlaugh camp is that they av sounded tony spence to see if he was willing to take over and try to save there season.
Things behind the scenes r very wrong at the club and it is showing in the results.
Skirlaugh av a history in not being loyal to there coaches, didn't they sack mike smith after he only delivered them the national cup and 2nd in the league?
Another name mentioned was ex coach lee ritchie although spence is the favourite at the moment.

With the amount of very good players Skirlaugh have, it shouldn't be that hard for any coach to get them challenging for silverware.

I dont know who your insider is in the Skirlaugh camp is but he's filling you full of ##### . I am an insider at the Skirlaugh camp and I can tell you that all the lads are completely happy with all the current coaching staff . Every team goes through difficult times and whats happening down there is down to simple errors .

I heard this at the east hull game today and I heard that it had not come from anyone at Skirlaugh, it started by tony spence himself.
I think it's a load of rubbish and Chinese wispers

to be honest skirlaugh weren't that bad. there defence was awfull but in attack they looked ok, and i was mulling around collecting the strapping from the field and there was no ill feeling from the players or coaching staff , quite the opposite they seemed tuned in to what the coach was saying . i think skirlaugh will bounce back no doubt just need to get some wins under there belt like we all have experienced in this league. skirlaugh for a top six finish for me along with thatto, leigh east, miners, wath brow and one other team which i find hard to pick

sorry about that , i certainly feel red faced about the non inclusion of siddal in my top six , they would be right up there with all the others sorry

yeah, the lads in your a team might be turning out every week but they r wasting there time as, no matter how ###### some players in your 1st team play, they know they wont get dropped by there coach. how many games do you have to lose on the trot before any of the a team lads get a look in?
and before all the village idiots start posting and saying that there is not a problem at the club, i was talking to ex, and current, skirlaugh players on sunday and they were all saying that it stinks!

As I have stated before on this Forum I am not with any team I just go around the Local Fixtures to watch what I think will be the best game of the week including the Hul & District League
It would be intersting if you could Name the Players Ex or Current as I am sure the Skirlaugh Club would be interested

I know their (Acorns) chairman, bit of a bully from what ive seen, apparently sticking his oar in left right n centre. Good on Tuffsy for stickin up2 him, but you live n die by your results. Coaches dont miss tackles n drop passes, but theyre 1st to cop it when results go wrong, n take the praise when they win.
