Salad cream, immense.

I think it should be banned between October and March, then compulsory every day from April to September. However, I flaunt my own law and have it most days.

Soy sauce, dark and light.

Tabasco Chipotle Sauce. Slightly less spicy than regular Tabasco, but has the most amazing sweet smokey flavour. Works really well on chips, scrambled eggs, cheese on toast or a sausage butty. Only seems to be on sale in Waitrose though. I used to have to get my Mum to bring a few bottles down from Edinburgh every time she came to visit before the Waitrose in Nottingham opened.

Slightly off topic but is there a nicer plate of food than a massive bag of ready salted doused in Lea & Perrins?

Well I was racking me brains at work about my favourite at the moment as there isn't much I don't like. Mayonaisse has become a fave in our house and I whack it on most foods. The Encona sauces are a fave in our household too. Anybody had any of the Reggae, Reggae sauce range? Had the "main" one and didn't really click with it.

'nd how's about Branston? Overrated?

In 2008 we bought some tomato plants and the fruit never turned red, so I made green tomato chutney - it's very nice, but it is a little old now. On the other hand I've been told chutney gets better with age. We'll see. glare.gif
