Acorn have let simon tuffs go after a poor start to the season, scott rhodes is takin over as player coach!

there not good enough for our a team pal, their 5 + 0 n they've only played the top half of the table so far, somat to do wit the new coaching set up this season i believe.

herd a bit about scott's assistant apparently he's massive and goes by the name of HUMMELLLL just wonderd if this was true ??

Got told that Tuffsy told 1 of the senior players that the chairman, whos apparently is widely disliked by the players, told him 2 humiliate the club captain, is that Embleton, on the bus in front of every1 on way home from West Hull cos he hadnt trained, n Tuffsy refused. Seems odd that they would sack him after biggest win of the season, why didnt they do it before? Seems personal?? They were near bottom, but apparantly very close 2 winning a lot of games theyd lost. Loads of moaning ##### at our club who think theyre better than what they are.

Whether or not what you say is true, the fact of the matter is the club have drawn a line under Simon's time at the club and are moving forward with Scott Rhodes as coach.

The chairman being popular or unpopular is also irrelevant as he does not take to the field on a saturday afternoon.

i've known embo 20yrs n i can honestly say i've never seen him humiliated in all that time, its not possible, the lad has no shame.
i'm sure if it is true it was all meant in good jest cos i can comfirm the crack at the corn is second t non, u mercenaries in hull won't understand wat its like to play with lads you've know since you were kids
n as for the chairman bin disliked i find that hard to believe...................... they've all just bin told they'll get a pay rise when we avoid relegation.
