New signing - Ben Jones, ex Harlequins & Rhinos prop,
roomed with/mates with Ryan Esders when down at Quins,
close to a full time contract at Hull FC for 2011, but didn't happen.

Callum Dinsdale - released to allow him to play amateur
rugby.

Is this the same Ben Jones who was at Donny last season ? if so big lad.

Looked a good player at Doncaster and he's played SL so he's going tp be a very good signing for us.

Bell will never get his head right. Every club who has had him on their books said the same thing when they signed him - massive talent, devastating runner etc etc. When he is then subsequently released/sacked shortly after they all say the same thing again - liability, unstable, loose cannon etc etc. Some of the stories of what he got up to off the pitch whilst at Barrow are pretty shocking.

Jones looks a very useful signing indeed, shame Callum's moving on as I thought he showed well when gievn a chance.

Can't see anything new in today's RL papers regarding
any more new players, looking forward to Wednesday night.

The cold shower when you got home didn't work then Deano?

Other stuff, Ed Smith's brother Pat, from Hull FC Academy, has
signed for Sheffield Eagles (he's at university in Sheffield).

DW still after another stand off according to one of the RL papers
today, but nothing doing at the moment & will only sign the 'right
sort of character & not someone who could be disruptive' ......

Suzzy, don't think so, Mike Mitchell - centre - re-signed for his 3rd season
a few weeks back.

Dave Nosey Parker said in the Rugby League Press today that Matty Brooks is looking for a club he is a half back/hooker at sheffield for the last few seasons formerly of Hull KR and Oldham, and has previous been on loan at the Knights for a few games in the Mick Cook era, might be worth a punt?

Would be hoping for someone is a natural No6 rather than a player how is seen as more of a hooker now rather than a half back.

Tome Bush looks like a good player, did well in his few games for the leeds first team, better at fullback than wing!

Seems like Monday 6th December is favourite, but not heard anything
definate, assume the clubs are given a draft set before then for their
comments & then they are finalised before release to the general public.

Personally, reckon we will get Keighley as one of our NR Cup games.

i agree loz wildbore would be a great signing. But i guess he is on a good deal in south wales that we would find difficult to match

i agree but surley loz would rather train and play other then travel to wales for home games and stay in a hotel. he doesn.t train either with them and loz is a rugby lad who likes to train and be involved with the lads having a craic. still be worth a try
