White water rafted up to Glasgow and back on M6 yesterday. Ridiculous amounts of water and flood reports on radio Cumbria/Lancashire. Think it could be an issue with games anywhere west of Gods own county although forcast for tomorrow is a lot better.
Sing a song of Yorkshire, from the Humber to the Tees
Of cricket, rugby, beer, of pudding and of cheese
I know no other county where the land is quite so fine
England's lovely county. And I'm proud to call it mine
Where shining purple heather stretches far across the moor
And the lapwing's cry above me takes the place of traffic roar
And peace comes drifting gently, there's no place I'd rather be
Than this land of hills and valleys, from the Pennines to the sea
So when I've done my roaming, and when my step grows slow
When heart and mind assure me that the time has come to go
Then let me rest in Yorkshire, for its there I want to lie
'Neath sun and wind and heather... and a gleaming Yorkshire sky
Of cricket, rugby, beer, of pudding and of cheese

Only a couple of years ago, on the night of the AGM all Humberside was under water plus it ruined Doncaster Toll Bar's pitch for months.

Hindpools NWCL game also called off tomorrow.
Think I could have been a bit premature calling it off as our pitch is fine now but Burtonwood said they needed to know Thursday night and at the time it looked like there was no chance

East Hull 13 Thatto 10
Really tight game by all accounts, Thatto scoring first then Easts hitting back and leading half time. Thatto dominating 2nd half camped in Easts half of pitch but couldnt turn possesion and position into points.
Also missed 2 penalties that were very kickable.
Never an easy game over there!!!
