I actually reckon they've got a good chance of landing Cooke. As he's based out on a limb in Hull, and neither Rovers or FC (or any other SL club for that matter) will apparently take a chance on him, York is the most convenient destination for him. Apart from York, the only other club I can see offering him a contract is Widnes, with an eye on their Super League re-appearance in 2012.

K.O.L. and the like talk about us being Hunslets bitch.Personally think its the other way round as some of you lot do seem to have a rather weird fixation with the Knights.They seem to spend a lot more time either on our forum or on here focussing on us rather than there own team.If he took the time out to read the R.L. weekly papers he will have seen that Dave Woods is not interested in signing Paul Cooke.Instead of constantly trying to wind up York fans maybe K.O.L. should learn to read (if education actually goes that far in South Leeds) then he may actually be up to date with whats happening in the rugby league world.
