East Hull 13 Thatto 10
Really tight game by all accounts, Thatto scoring first then easts hitting back and leading half time.
Thatto dominating second half, camped in easts half of pitch but couldnt turn possesion and position into points.
Also missed 2 very kickable penalties, never an easy game over there though!!

He balanced the hot areas with the cold areas. the dry areas with the wet areas.
And, in creating Yorkshire, he created the most glorious place on earth - full of majestic beauty and sporting giants.........and for balance he created....... Lancashire.

I felt that Hunslet's kicking game was very poor and the main culprit was ex pro Dwayne Barker playing at 6.
To think that this young man once played for England is very disturbing. He did not stand out today and is general game awareness was pretty poor.
A good game played in a decent spirit.

corn had 3 certain tries chalked off in 1st half for forward pass, off side from a kick n knock on in tackle, all were very dubious decisions, n 1 in the 2nd half which was ruled as held up over the line, which i hear a few of the dockers lads say was grounded in the club after. never the less dockers ground out the result acorn had other chances but failed to capatilise n are still in the thick off it regretable. mike reid, was the ref, i thought he was dead, it appears his still doing a very comical stand up routine.

Aye, Richard Colley made several clean breaks but lacked support on occasion, Browny was a constant thorn as well, i'll get pics up tomorrow.

Stunning game, St Judes trailed 20-4 at half time then fought back to take the lead with only a few minutes to go, only to see Siddal score the winning try in the dying seconds to clinch it.

Leigh Miners got back to winning ways yesterday with a 42-12 victory against Bradford Dudley Hill, although the score suggests a hammering for the visitors they made Miners work for the points despite playing more than half a game with twelve men. The opening quarter was all Dudley Hill with Miners failing to complete there sets it was twenty minutes of constant pressure by the visitors as they were camped on the Miners line but with the home side defending strongly there was no way through for the Bradford outfit. After soaking up all the pressure it was Miners who opened the scoring, Ryan Smith supporting a break to score under the posts, Tom Bradbury converting to give Miners a 6-0 lead. Dudley Hill were reduced to twelve men with just over ten minutes of the half remaining, there number 6 sent off for head butting. Tom Bradbury put the home side 8-0 up from the resulting penalty and from that Miners scored two further tries before the break, Darryl Kay scoring out wide to give the score 12-0 followed by a try right on half time by Ryan Smith, Second row Adam Thomason breaking from his own half to send Smith in for his second under the posts, Bradbury converting to give Miners a 18-0 half time advantage.
Dudley Hill started the second half with plenty of enthusiasm trying to find a way back into game but any hopes of a come back were soon dashed with Ryan Smith grabbing his hat trick followed by a length of the field try by Jimmy Muir, Bradbury converting both to put Miners 30-0 in front. A John Woods break put Scott O’Brien in for the home sides sixth try before Bradford scored there first try in the right hand corner the kick converted to give the score 36-6. Darryl Kay finished the scoring for Miners with his second of the game, Bradbury converting his seventh goal to give the score 42-6, Hill scored a second try late on to give the final score 42-12 to Leigh Miners.
Next week Miners are at home to Wigan St Pats.

Cracking game, Pats dominated the first half scoring 4 tries to go 18-0 up Wests scored a converted try just before h-t 18-6 to pats. Wests scored again early in the second half 18-10, Pats old warhorse Andy Raz rolled back the years selling a dummy and forcing his way over 6 mins into the second half 22-10 to Pats the rest of the half was all Wests, another converted try for wests made it 22-16 Wests putting on loads of pressure in the last 20mins Pats defended well and Wests didn't break through again till a try in the corner in stoppage time leaving a touch line conversion to snatch a draw, the kick fell just short and we at the Pats were delighted with a hard fought victory.
The West Hull commitee donated the proceeds from the after match raffle to Pats prop Pete Fairhurst who suffered a bad injury last week this totalled £153, i spoke to Pete last night and he is overwhelmed and very, very grateful for the benevolence and kindness shown by the Wests lads and the Acorn lads last week as well as the rugby league community in general. From Pete and the St.Pats commitee Thank you all it is very much appreciated.

Went to Eastmoor v Hunslet and feel that a draw was a fair result.
I felt that Hunslet's kicking game was very poor and the main culprit was ex pro Dwayne Barker playing at 6.
To think that this young man once played for England is very disturbing. He did not stand out today and is general game awareness was pretty poor.
A good game played in a decent spirit.
Can`t agree with you here I thought Barker had a decent game particularily in the first half when his kicking game gave Hunslet several opportunities.
This is my third Hunslet game this season and I felt that they weren`t at their best but fair play to Eastmoor they certainly deserved the draw and as you say the game was played in good spirit and was a belter to watch.
